Get Pain Free This Fall Withe The Texas Orthobiologic Institute
If you have joint pain or back pain or have been told you need orthopedic surgery….please come to our regenerative medicine seminar Wednesday, August 11 at 7p. Don Buford, MD, a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, will lead a question and answer seminar designed to protect patients from stem cell scams and to help patients decide when PRP or stem cell injections might be a good treatment option.
I recently came across this chart which nicely illustrates the difference in length of training in medical and surgical specialties. In addition to just the time and experience difference…there are differences in educational focus and content also. When looking for a doctor or surgeon to make your diagnosis and recommend ALL of the treatment options from regenerative medicine to surgery…..make sure you see someone qualified. When it is time to have someone inject you…make sure they have the proper training, experience, equipment, and even the proper malpractice insurance!
I gave this talk in 2019 at the 10th Annual Orthobiologic Institute Meeting (TOBI)
It is a short 10 minute intro talk on the differences between bone marrow aspirate and bone marrow concentrate.
Don Buford, MD gave this lecture at the 2019 Mexican Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon Annual Meeting. Dr. Buford discusses why bone marrow concentrate can help with shoulder pain. Don’t accept joint pain without considering the treatment options we have at the Texas Orthobiologic Institute! Surgery is not always the best answer.
If you don’t see a doctor listed on the web site then you are probably looking at a marketing website and not a legitimate medical clinic.
If you don’t see the doctor’s full name and medical degree…..ask yourself, why would a clinic not want to give a patient that information?
In this 8 minute training video, Don Buford, MD demonstrates the flexibility of the Trice Medical dynamic imaging tablet based platform that includes a fu based ultrasound and a single stick disposable needle arthroscope that can be used for diagnostic arthroscopy under local anesthesia at any location. The Mi-Ultra is a full featured ultrasound unit. The mi-eye2 is the only single stick disposable needle arthroscope on the market…..with no need for additional cannulas. Both imaging modalities are available and interchangeable on a single tablet!
The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute will soon be changing names to reflect the expansion of orthobiologic services available at the clinic.
