Solving Your Low Back Pain – Two State-of-the-Art Treatments That Can Help

Most of the time, low back pain ends up being of the acute variety, meaning it may last for a few days or a few weeks before resolving on its own. However, at least 20 percent of the time, acute low back pain develops into chronic low back pain that lasts longer than 12 weeks and causes persistent pain. In many cases, chronic low back pain lasts for a year or more, which usually means treatment will be necessary to provide relief.

With so many people suffering from low back pain, new treatments are constantly being developed, often with dubious results.

However, at Texas Orthobiologics, we use two state-of-the-art treatments to deliver relief to individuals bothered by persistent low back pain: regenerative medicine injections and laser therapy. One reason we chose these two treatments is that there is already solid clinical evidence that they are safer and as effective or even more effective than alternative surgical procedures.

With laser therapy, treatment lasts seven-10 minutes, and it typically takes seven-10 treatments total for maximum benefit. Laser therapy is not covered by most insurance companies in the USA and the price per session is $60.  Patients that have HSA or FSA health insurance plans can use those plans to pay for laser therapy.
